How to control cookies
- Our cookie banner: when you first visit, you can accept or decline analytics cookies. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page. Declining also removes any analytics cookies already set.
- Browser settings: most browsers let you block or delete cookies and site data. Blocking all cookies may affect how some websites work.
- Google Analytics opt-out: Google offers a browser add-on that prevents Google Analytics from collecting data on websites you visit.
- Saved garden plans: delete them from the garden planner page, or by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
Embedded videos
Some articles include videos hosted on YouTube. To protect your privacy, we use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and a click-to-play preview: the YouTube player does not load, and YouTube does not set cookies, until you choose to play a video. Once you press play, YouTube (Google) may set cookies and collect information as described in Google’s Privacy Policy.
